NF VALIDATION : 124 methods certified in food microbiology

As of December 03th 2015, 121 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis are certified NF VALIDATION according to the NF EN ISO 16140 standard protocol, and 3 for antibiotic detection in food according to a specific validation protocol.

During its meeting held on December 03rd and 04th 2015, the NF VALIDATION “Technical Board – Food Microbiology” approved by vote:

– The validation according to the new protocol ISO/FDIS 16140-2 (2015) of Thermo Scientific SureTect Cronobacter species PCR Assay (OXOID Thermo Fisher Scienific) for the detection of Cronobacter spp. in infant formula (with or without probiotics) and related industrial environmental samples, and EASY STAPH (SOLABIA) for the enumeration of coagulase-positive Staphylococci in meat products and poultry, dairy products and seafood.
