NF VALIDATION: News as of June 2016 for the water domain

As of June 1st, 2016, 15 methods for microbiological analysis in water are certified NF VALIDATION. The qPCR kits for Legionella qualitative and quantitative detection are certified according to a protocol based on NF T90-471 and ISO/TS 12869 standards. The other methods are certified according to a technical protocol, developed by AFNOR Certification and based on the comparison of an alternative method to a standard method.

During its meeting held on June 1st, 2016, the NF VALIDATION “Technical Board – Water General protocol” approved by vote the validation renewals of the following methods: MWY Legionella Agar (bioMérieux), Colilert-18 / Quanti-Tray or Quanti-Tray 2000 – Bathing waters (IDEXX Laboratories) and COMPASS cc Agar (SOLABIA).
