NF VALIDATION (Food): Technical Board of september 2016

As of September 30th 2016, 126 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis are certified NF VALIDATION : 114 are validated according to the protocol EN/ISO 16140:2003 and 12 according to the protocol EN/ISO 16140-2:2016. Two methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the NF VALIDATION specific protocol.

During its meeting held on September 29th and 30th 2016, the NF VALIDATION “Technical Board – Food Microbiology” approved by vote:

– The validations (according to the protocol NF EN ISO 16140-2:2016) of two methods: 3M Molecular Detection Assay 2 – Listeria monocytogenes (3M Health Care) for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in all human food and production environmental samples, GENE-UP Listeria spp. (bioMérieux) for the detection of Listeria spp. (excluding Listeria grayi) in meat and dairy products.

– The following validation extensions: scope of GENE-UP Salmonella (bioMérieux) extended to “all human food products”; validation of a new protocol specific to “composite foods” for LUMIPROBE 24 Listeria monocytogenes (Europrobe).
