As of May 18th, 2018, 134 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION: 56 are validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003 and 76 according to the new protocol EN ISO 16140-2: 2016. Two methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the Validation protocol antibiotics.
During his last meeting, held from 17th to 18th of May, 2018, the NF VALIDATION Technical Board (TC) approved by vote:
- The validation extension of the method Thermo Scientific RapidFinder Salmonella species, Typhimurium and Enteritidis Multiplex PCR Kit for the possibility to use the Applied Biosystems QuantStudio 5 Real-Time PCR instrument with the Thermo Scientific RapidFinder Analysis Software V1.0.; and BAX System RT-PCR Assay for Salmonella spp. for the changeover to version 3.6 of the BAX System Q7’s software and the update of validation studies according to the new EN ISO 16140-2.
- The validation renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol) of the following alternative methods: 3M Petrifilm Coliforme Count Plate (total, gas producing and thermotolerants), Thermo Scientific SureTect Listeria spp. PCR Assay, RAPID’L. mono (enumeration), VIDAS Salmonella (dual selective enrichment), VIDAS Listeria, VIDAS Listeria Monocytogenes 2 (30°C), VIDAS Salmonella (single selective enrichment), VIDAS Campylobacter (CAM), Gélose CampyFood (CFA), LUMIprobe 24 Listeria monocytogenes, BAX System RT-PCR Assay E. coli O157:H7 et COMPASS Bacillus cereus Agar
