NF VALIDATION (Food): Technical Board of October 2017

As of October 3rd 2017, 136 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis are certified NF VALIDATION : 97 are validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003 and 39 according to the new protocol EN ISO 16140-2: 2016. Two methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the NF VALIDATION specific protocol.

During his meeting held on October 2nd and 3rd 2017, the NF VALIDATION Technical Board (TC) approved by vote:

– The validation extensions of the following methods: BAX System PCR Assay for Genus Listeria 24E and BAX System PCR Assay for Listeria monocytogenes 24E (Qualicon Diagnostics) for the changeover to version 3.6 of the BAX System Q7’s software and the update of validation studies according to the new EN ISO 16140-2.

– The validation renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2:2016 ) of 3M Petrifilm AC Plate, 3M Petrifilm EB Plate (3M Health Care), and TEMPO AC (bioMérieux).

Next meetings of the TC: 2017 :  November 23th and 24th. 2018 : January 25th and 26th, March 22th and 23rd, July 2nd and 3rd, October 4th and 5th, December 3rd and 4th.
