All the microbiological methods are validated according to the <a title=\"NF EN ISO 16140\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\">NF EN ISO 16140<\/a> standard protocol requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During its meeting held on\u00a0<strong>November 27<sup>th <\/sup>and 28<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th <\/span><\/sup>2014<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation of a new method: <strong>ESIA One Day <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux) for\u00a0detection of <em>Cronobacter<\/em> spp in infant formulas (liquids and powders), milk powders and dehydrated complements of infant formulas, matrices used in the composition of infant formulas (liquids and powders) and soy milk, environmental samples from milk powders and infant formulas industries.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation renewal of the following methods: <strong>3M Petrifilm High Sensitivity Coliform Count Plate <\/strong>(3M Health Care), <strong>chromeID Coli Agar <\/strong>at 37\u00b0C<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>chromeID Coli Agar <\/strong>at 44\u00b0C(bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>chromeID Coli Agar <\/strong>for coliforms at 37\u00b0C (bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>Listeria<\/em> spp <\/strong>(BIO-RAD), <strong>BAX System PCR Assay <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp<\/strong> (DuPont Qualicon) and <strong>COMPASS <em>Listeria<\/em> AGAR<\/strong> (SOLABIA).<\/p>\n<p>Next meetings of NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food Microbiology&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8211; 2015 : February 5<strong><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong> and 6<strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong>, March 26<strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong> and 27<strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong>, May 21<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">st<\/span><\/sup> and 22<strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong>, July 2nd and 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>rd<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, October 8<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> and 9<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>, December 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>rd<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and 4<sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of\u00a0November 28th 2014, 117 microbiological methods in the food industry including 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION.
