All the microbiological methods are validated according to the <a title=\"NF EN ISO 16140\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\">NF EN ISO 16140<\/a> standard protocol requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During its meeting held on <strong>March 26<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th <\/span><\/sup>2015<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation of a new method:\u00a0<strong>DuPont BAX System Real-Time PCR Assay for <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp <\/strong>(DuPont Qualicon) for the detection of\u00a0<em>Salmonella<\/em> spp in meat products, egg products, vegetables and seafood, and pet food; <strong>BAC<em>Gene<\/em> <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp<\/strong> (Eurofins GeneScan) for the detection of <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp\u00a0in all human food products and <strong>Thermo Scientific SureTect <em>Escherichia coli <\/em>O157:H7 PCR Assay<\/strong> (Oxoid Thermo Fisher Scientific) for the detection of\u00a0<em>E. c<\/em><em>oli<\/em> O157:H7 in raw beef.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation renewal of the following methods: <strong><strong>chromID Lmono Agar<\/strong> <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux) and\u00a0<strong>OXOID <em>Listeria<\/em> Rapid Test <\/strong>(Oxoid Thermo Fisher Scientific).<\/p>\n<p>Next meetings of NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food Microbiology&#8221;:\u00a0<strong><strong>May 21<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">st<\/span><\/sup> and 22<strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong>, July 2<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">nd<\/span><\/sup> and 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, October 8<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> and 9<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>, December 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and <strong>4<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong> 2015<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of March 26th 2015, 120 microbiological methods in the food industry including 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION.
