All the microbiological methods are validated according to the\u00a0<a title=\"NF EN ISO 16140\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\">NF EN ISO 16140<\/a>\u00a0standard protocol requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During its meeting held on <strong>May 21<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">st <\/span><\/sup>2015<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation of a new method:\u00a0<strong>RHAPSODY <\/strong>(SOLABIA) for the enumeration of <em>Pseudomonas <\/em>spp in meat products and dairy products.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation extension to the categories &#8220;feed products (25g)&#8221;, &#8220;pet foods (375g)&#8221; and &#8220;production environment samples (excluding primary production environment)&#8221; for <strong>BAC<em>Gene Salmonella<\/em> spp<\/strong> (Eurofins GeneScan).<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation renewal of the following methods:\u00a0<strong><strong>TAG 24 <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(BioControl Systems),\u00a0<strong>IBISA <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux) and\u00a0<strong>TaqMan <em>Salmonella<\/em> <em>enterica<\/em><\/strong> (Life Technologies).<\/p>\n<p>Next meetings of NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food Microbiology&#8221;:<strong><strong> July 2<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">nd<\/span><\/sup> and 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, October 8<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> and 9<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>, December 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and <strong>4<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong> 2015.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of June 05th 2015, 121 microbiological methods in the food industry including 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION.
