All the microbiological methods are validated according to the <a title=\"NF EN ISO 16140 :2003\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\">NF EN ISO 16140 :2003<\/a> standard protocol requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During its meeting held on\u00a0<strong>July 2<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">nd\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>and 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>rd<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> 2015<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation extension of the following methods: <strong>BAC<em>Gene Salmonella<\/em> spp<\/strong> (Eurofins GeneScan) for a new protocol with 50g up to 375g sample sizes for milk powders and infant formula with and without probiotics;\u00a0<strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>Salmonella<\/em> \/Agar<\/strong> (BIO-RAD) for a new protocol\u00a0with 50g up to 375g sample sizes for milk powders, including infant formula with and without probiotics and related dehydrated dairy ingredients;\u00a0<strong>ThermoScientific SureTect <em>E. coli<\/em> O157:H7 PCR Assay<\/strong> (OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific) for an updated version of the related\u00a0kit file of the SureTect software.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation renewal of the following methods: <strong>TRANSIA PLATE <em>Listeria <\/em><\/strong>(BioControl Systems), <strong>ADIAFOOD <em>Escherichia coli<\/em> O157:H7 <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>iQ-Check <em>Listeria<\/em> spp. <\/strong>(BIO-RAD), <strong>MicroSEQ <em>Listeria<\/em> spp.<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>MicroSEQ <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em><\/strong> (Life Technologies), <strong>Reveal 2.0 <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (Neogen Europe), <strong><em>Salmonella<\/em> Precis<\/strong> (OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific), <strong>IRIS <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>SESAME <em>Salmonella<\/em> TEST<\/strong>\u00a0and <strong>COMPASS <em>Listeria<\/em> Agar Enumeration <\/strong>(SOLABIA).<\/p>\n<p>Next meetings of NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food Microbiology&#8221;:<\/p>\n<p><strong><strong>2015: October 8<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> and 9<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup>, December 3<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">rd<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and <strong>4<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong> 2015.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2016: January 28<sup><span style=\"font-size: small\">th<\/span><\/sup> and 29<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, March 17<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and 18<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, May 12<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and 13<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, June 30<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and July 1<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>st<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, September 29<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and 30<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>, November 24<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span> and 25<span style=\"font-size: small\"><strong><sup>th<\/sup><\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of June 06th 2015, 121 microbiological methods in the food industry including 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION.
