As of October 14th\u00a0<\/span><\/sup>2015, 119 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis\u00a0are certified\u00a0NF VALIDATION according to the\u00a0NF EN ISO 16140<\/a>\u00a0standard protocol, and 3 for antibiotic detection in food according to a specific validation protocol.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During its meeting held on October 08th <\/span><\/sup>and 09th<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span> 2015<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n

– The validation of Solus E. coli <\/em>O157 ELISA<\/strong> (Solus Scientific) for the detection of Salmonella<\/em> spp. in raw beef meats (seasoned or not), dairy products and raw milks, vegetables and production environmental samples.<\/p>\n

– The validation extension of VIDAS Easy Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) for the use of\u00a0VITEK MS test for the confirmation of presumptive Salmonella<\/em> spp.<\/p>\n

– The validation renewal (without modification) of the following methods: RAPID’E. coli<\/em> O157:H7 <\/strong>(BIO-RAD), REBECCA BASE or REBECCA + EB <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), REBECCA + EB<\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux).<\/p>\n

– The validation renewal (with extension) of\u00a0VIDAS UP Salmonella <\/em><\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), for the use of VITEK MS test for the confirmation of presumptive Salmonella<\/em> spp, and also an update of the validation file according to the new ISO 16140-2 protocol.<\/p>\n
