As of July 6th <\/span><\/sup>2016, 125 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis are certified NF VALIDATION : 115 are validated according to the protocol EN\/ISO 16140:2003<\/a>\u00a0and 10 according to the protocol ISO 16140-2:2016<\/a>. Two methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the NF VALIDATION specific protocol.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During its meeting held on June 30th <\/span><\/sup>and July\u00a01st<\/span><\/sup><\/strong><\/span> 2016<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION \u201cTechnical Board \u2013 Food Microbiology\u201d approved by vote:<\/p>\n

– The validations according to the protocol ISO 16140-2:2016 of GENE-UP Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) for the detection of Salmonella<\/em> spp. in meat products, and\u00a0ready-to-eat and ready-to-reheat food products, LESS Plus for Listeria + <\/em>ANSR for Listeria <\/em>or culture media<\/strong> and LESS Plus for Listeria monocytogenes <\/em>+ ANSR for Listeria monocytogenes <\/em>or culture media<\/strong> (NEOGEN Europe Ltd) for the detection of Listeria<\/em> spp. or Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> in all human food products and production environmental samples.<\/p>\n

– The validation extensions of the following methods for OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific: Thermo Scientific SureTect Listeria<\/em> species PCR Assay <\/strong>and Thermo Scientific SureTect Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> PCR Assay<\/strong> for\u00a0the use of ABI 7500 Fast instrument and its RapidFinder Express software V2.0, Thermo Scientific SureTect Cronobacter<\/em> species PCR Assay<\/strong> for a new protocol for powdered infant formula (300g) and the use of ABI 7500 Fast instrument and its RapidFinder Express software V2.0, Thermo Scientific SureTect Salmonella<\/em> species PCR Assay<\/strong> for a new enrichment protocol for dairy products and the use of ABI 7500 Fast instrument and its RapidFinder Express software V2.0.<\/p>\n

– The validation renewals according to the protocol EN\/ISO 16140:2003\u00a0of 3M Petrifilm Rapid Coliform Count Plate, 3M Petrifilm Select E. coli<\/em> Count Plate<\/strong>, 3M Molecular Detection Assay for Salmonella<\/em><\/strong>,\u00a03M Molecular Detection Assay E. coli <\/em>O157 <\/strong>(3M Health Care), ALOA One Day <\/strong><\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux). For VIDAS Listeria<\/em> monocytogenes<\/em> II (LMO2) <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), the validation renewal has been performed according to the protocol ISO 16140-2:2016.<\/p>\n
