{"id":2124,"date":"2019-01-18T11:48:16","date_gmt":"2019-01-18T10:48:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=2124"},"modified":"2019-01-18T11:48:16","modified_gmt":"2019-01-18T10:48:16","slug":"nf-validation-food-news-of-december-2018","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/news\/nf-validation-food-news-of-december-2018\/","title":{"rendered":"NF Validation (Food) : News of December 2018"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As of January 18<sup>th<\/sup>, 134 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\">EN ISO 16140: 2003<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0or its new version <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140-2\/microbiology-of-the-food-chain-method-validation-part-2-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-proprietary-methods-a\/article\/810052\/fa166689\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>The update of the files is done gradually, on the occasion of renewals or extensions. The end of transition is scheduled for 2021. In the meantime, the 2 types of certificates are still valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, 2 methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/09\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_fr.pdf\">Validation protocol antibiotics<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong> of AFNOR Certification.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TC) expressed during its meeting held on 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup> of December 2018, AFNOR Certification approved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The validation of two alternative methods :\u00a0 <strong>Solus One <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (Solus Scientific) for the detection of Salmonella, <strong>Symphony <\/strong><strong>Agar <\/strong>(Solabia SAS) for the enumeration of yeasts and molds.<\/li>\n<li>The certification extensions for <strong>Thermo Scientific SureTect <em>Salmonella <\/em>species PCR Assay <\/strong>and<strong> Thermo Scientific SureTect <em>Cronobacter <\/em>species PCR Assay <\/strong>(Oxoid Thermo Fisher Scientific) for the possibility to use the QuantStudio 5 RT-PCR instrument with the RapidFinder Analysis software v1.0, <strong>Thermo Scientific RapidFinder <em>Salmonella<\/em> species, Typhimurium and Enteridis Multiplex PCR Assay <\/strong>(Oxoid Thermo Fisher Scientific) for the analysis of primary production environmental samples, <strong>GENE-UP <em>Salmonella<\/em>, GENE-UP<em> Listeria<\/em> spp. et GENE-UP <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em><\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) for the validation of a new kit PCR format (unit doses) and the upgrade to v3.0 of the GENE-UP Routine software<strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>The certification renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016) of\u00a0<strong>MicroSEQ\u00ae <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp. <\/strong>and <strong><em>Listeria<\/em> Precis (enumeration) <\/strong>(Oxoid Thermo Fisher Scientific), <strong>TEMPO EB<\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>GeneDisc <em>Listeria monocytogenes <\/em><\/strong>and<strong> GeneDisc <em>Listeria<\/em> spp. <\/strong>(Pall GeneDisc Technologies),<strong> chromID\u2122 Coli Agar (37\u00b0C &#8211; Coliformes), chromID\u2122 Coli Agar (37\u00b0C &#8211; E.Coli) <\/strong>and<strong> chromID\u2122 Coli Agar (44\u00b0C &#8211; E.Coli) <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our next meetings of the TC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2019<\/strong>: January 31<sup>st<\/sup> &amp; February 1<sup>st<\/sup>, March 21<sup>st <\/sup>&amp; 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, May 16<sup>th <\/sup>&amp; 17<sup>th<\/sup>, July 3<sup>rd\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup>, October 3<sup>rd\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup>, November 28<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 29<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of January 18th, 134 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003\u00a0or&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":1709,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2124","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 -
