{"id":2156,"date":"2019-05-23T13:55:27","date_gmt":"2019-05-23T12:55:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=2156"},"modified":"2019-05-23T13:55:27","modified_gmt":"2019-05-23T12:55:27","slug":"nf-validation-food-whats-new-in-may-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-food-whats-new-in-may-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food) : What&#8217;s new in May 2019?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As of May 23<sup>rd<\/sup>, 138 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiology-of-food-and-animal-feeding-stuffs-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-methods\/article\/630128\/fa103509\">EN ISO 16140: 2003<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0or its new version <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/standard\/nf-en-iso-16140-2\/microbiology-of-the-food-chain-method-validation-part-2-protocol-for-the-validation-of-alternative-proprietary-methods-a\/article\/810052\/fa166689\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong>. <\/strong>The update of the files is done gradually, on the occasion of renewals or extensions. The end of transition is scheduled for 2021. In the meantime, the 2 types of certificates are still valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, 3 methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the <\/strong><strong><u><a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/09\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_fr.pdf\">Validation protocol antibiotics<\/a><\/u><\/strong><strong> of AFNOR Certification.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TC) expressed during its meeting held on May 16<sup>th<\/sup> and the 17<sup>th<\/sup> of May 2019, AFNOR Certification approved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The certification extension for\u00a0<strong>Thermo Scientific SureTect Salmonella species PCR Assay <\/strong>(Oxoid\u00a0 Thermo Fisher Scientific) with an addition for milk powder, infant formula and infant cereals with and without probiotics including ingredients (375g sample size) .<\/li>\n<li>The certification renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016) of <strong>RHAPSODY Agar A <\/strong>and <strong>RHAPSODY Agar B <\/strong>(SOLABIA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our next meetings of the TC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2019<\/strong>:\u00a0 July 3<sup>rd\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup>, October 3<sup>rd\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup>, November 28<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 29<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of May 23rd, 138 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003\u00a0or&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":1946,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2156","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>NF VALIDATION (Food) : What&#039;s new in May 2019?
