{"id":2428,"date":"2020-10-27T18:29:32","date_gmt":"2020-10-27T17:29:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=2428"},"modified":"2020-10-27T18:29:32","modified_gmt":"2020-10-27T17:29:32","slug":"nf-validation-food-news-of-october-2020-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-food-news-of-october-2020-2\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food) : News of October 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As of October 13<sup>th <\/sup>2020, 140 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiologie-des-aliments-protocole-pour-la-validation-des-methodes-alternatives\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140: 2003<\/a> or its new version <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140-2\/microbiologie-de-la-chaine-alimentaire-validation-des-methodes-partie-2-protocole-pour-la-validation-de-methodes-alternatives-co\/article\/810052\/fa166689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016<\/a>.<\/strong> The update of the files is done gradually, on the occasion of renewals or extensions. The end of transition is scheduled for 2021. In the meantime, the 2 types of certificates are still valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, 5 methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the<a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/09\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_fr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Validation protocol antibiotics<\/a> of AFNOR Certification.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TC) expressed during its meeting held on 1<sup>st\u00a0<\/sup>and 2<sup>nd<\/sup>\u00a0October 2020, AFNOR Certification approved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The certification validation for\u00a0<strong>IDEXX SNAPduo ST Plus Test <\/strong>(IDEXX Laboratories) for the detection of beta-lactams residues and tetracycline in raw commingled and individual cow milk and\u00a0<strong>Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Screening PCR Assay and Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Identification PCR Assay<\/strong>\u00a0(OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific) for the detection of shiga-toxin-producing <em>Escherichia coli<\/em> (O26, O103, O111, O145 and O157 serogroups).<\/li>\n<li>The certification extensions for :\u00a0<strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>Salmonella\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>(BIO-RAD) in order to validate the analysis of infant formula and infant cereals (375g),\u00a0\u00a0<strong><em>Salmonella <\/em><\/strong><strong>Precis <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 <em>Salmonella<\/em> species PCR Assay <\/strong>(OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific) respectively for the validation of a new enrichment protocol using BPW and analysis of cocoa and chocolates (375g).<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The certification renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016) of\u00a0<strong>GENE-UP\u00ae <em>Listeria<\/em> spp.<\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux),\u00a0<strong>iQ-Check <em>Salmonella<\/em> II,\u00a0<\/strong><strong>iQ-Check <em>E.coli<\/em> O157:H7,\u00a0RAPID&#8217;E. coli 2 (44\u00b0C), RAPID&#8217;<em>E.coli<\/em> (37\u00b0C)\u00a0 <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli<\/em> 2 (Coliformes 37\u00b0C)\u00a0<\/strong>(Bio-Rad),\u00a0<strong>3M\u2122 Molecular Detection Assay 2 &#8211; <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>3M Petrifilm Rapid Aerobic Count Plate<\/strong> (3M France),\u00a0<strong>TRANSIA<\/strong><strong>\u00ae<\/strong><strong>\u00a0P<\/strong><strong>late <em>Salmonella <\/em>Gold\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong> Assurance GDS for<em> Salmonella <\/em>Tq<\/strong>\u00a0(MilliporeSigma).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our next meetings of the TC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2020<\/strong>: December 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 4<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<li><strong>2021<\/strong>: February 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 4<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>, April 7<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 8<sup>th<\/sup>, June 16<sup>th<\/sup>&amp; 17<sup>th<\/sup>, October 6<sup>th<\/sup><sup>\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 7<sup>th<\/sup>, December 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 9<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of October 13th 2020, 140 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140:&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":1708,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2428","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 -
