{"id":2447,"date":"2021-01-08T18:17:40","date_gmt":"2021-01-08T17:17:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=2447"},"modified":"2021-01-08T18:18:21","modified_gmt":"2021-01-08T17:18:21","slug":"nf-validation-food-whats-new-in-december-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-food-whats-new-in-december-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food) : What&#8217;s new in December 2020?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As of January 8<sup>th <\/sup>2021, 143 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiologie-des-aliments-protocole-pour-la-validation-des-methodes-alternatives\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140: 2003<\/a> or its new version <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140-2\/microbiologie-de-la-chaine-alimentaire-validation-des-methodes-partie-2-protocole-pour-la-validation-de-methodes-alternatives-co\/article\/810052\/fa166689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016<\/a>.<\/strong> The update of the files is done gradually, on the occasion of renewals or extensions. The end of transition is scheduled for 2021. In the meantime, the 2 types of certificates are still valid.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, 5 methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the<a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2017\/09\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_fr.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Validation protocol antibiotics<\/a> of AFNOR Certification.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TC) expressed during its meeting held on 3<sup>rd\u00a0<\/sup>and 4<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2020, AFNOR Certification approved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The certification validation for\u00a0<strong>BACSpec <em>Salmonella<\/em> 2<\/strong> (Eurofins GeneScan Technologies Gmbh),\u00a0<strong>BAX System Real-Time PCR Assays for STEC Suite and BAX System Real-Time PCR Assays for <em>E.coli<\/em> O157:H7\u00a0<\/strong>(Qualicon Diagnostics) and\u00a0<strong>CSD\u00a0method <\/strong>(SOLABIA SAS) pour le d\u00e9nombrement des <em>Cronobacter<\/em> spp.<\/li>\n<li>The certification extensions for :\u00a0<strong>GENE-UP\u00ae <i>Salmonella<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux) for analysis of primary environmental production samples,\u00a0<strong>Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Screening PCR Assay and Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Identification PCR Assay<em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>((OXOID Thermo Fisher Scientific) for analysis of raw meats excluding poultry meats (375g),\u00a0<strong>IRIS <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (SOLABIA SAS) for the use of a new enrichment protocol.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0The certification renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016) of\u00a0<strong>TEMPO\u00a0 EC\u00a0<\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux),\u00a0<strong>AL Recherche <\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>AL Enumeration\u00a0<\/strong>(BIO-RAD)\u00a0<strong>,\u00a0BACGene <em>Listeria<\/em> spp., BACGene <em>Listeria<\/em> Multiplex, BACGene <em>Listeria monocytogenes <\/em><\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>BACSpec <em>Listeria<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong>(Eurofins GeneScan Technologies Gmbh).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our next meetings of the TC:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>2021<\/strong>: February 3<sup>rd<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 4<sup>th\u00a0<\/sup>, April 7<sup>th<\/sup> &amp; 8<sup>th<\/sup>, June 16<sup>th<\/sup>&amp; 17<sup>th<\/sup>, October 6<sup>th<\/sup><sup>\u00a0<\/sup>&amp; 7<sup>th<\/sup>, December 8<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0&amp; 9<sup>th<\/sup><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of January 8th 2021, 143 alternative methods for microbiological analysis in food are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140:&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9,"featured_media":1947,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2447","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>NF VALIDATION (Food) : What&#039;s new in December 2020?
