All the microbiological methods are validated according to the <a title=\"NF EN ISO 16140\" href=\"http:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140\/microbiologie-des-aliments-protocole-pour-la-validation-des-methodes-alternatives\/article\/630128\/fa103509\" target=\"_blank\">NF EN ISO 16140<\/a> standard protocol requirements.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During its meeting held on <strong>May 15<sup>th<\/sup> and 16<sup>th<\/sup> <\/strong><strong>2014<\/strong>, the NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food Microbiology&#8221; approved by vote:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The validation renewal of the methods\u00a0<strong>VIDAS\u00a0LIS , VIDAS LMO2, VIDAS SLM Dual Selective enrichment, <\/strong><strong>BACARA <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>BAX System RT-PCR Assay <em>E. coli<\/em> O157:H7 <\/strong>(Dupont Qualicon)<br \/>\n&#8211; The validation extension of the methods <strong>VIDAS SPT <\/strong>and <strong>VIDAS ECPT <\/strong>(bioM\u00e9rieux) for a new protocol\u00a0in 25g sample sizes specific to raw beef and raw veal\u00a0including seasoned meats (enrichment in BPW + Vancomycin Additive in 16-24 hours), <strong>SOLUS <em>Salmonella<\/em> ELISA <\/strong>(Solus Scientific Solutions Ltd) extending its scope to all human food and feed products and production environment samples (except those from\u00a0primary production).<\/p>\n<p>Next meetings of NF VALIDATION &#8220;Technical Board &#8211; Food microbiology&#8221; for 2014 :\u00a0<strong>July 3<sup>rd<\/sup> and 4<sup>th<\/sup>, October 2<sup>nd<\/sup> and 3<sup>rd<\/sup>, November 27<sup>th<\/sup> and 28<sup>th<\/sup>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As of May 16th , 2014, 119 microbiological methods in the food industry as well as 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION.
