{"id":3933,"date":"2024-10-08T14:48:37","date_gmt":"2024-10-08T13:48:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=3933"},"modified":"2024-10-22T08:20:47","modified_gmt":"2024-10-22T07:20:47","slug":"nf-validation-agro-whats-new-in-october-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-agro-whats-new-in-october-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food): what&#8217;s new in October 2024!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>On 8 October 2024, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 129 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/en-gb\/standard\/nf-en-iso-161402\/microbiology-of-the-food-chain-method-validation-part-2-protocol-for-the-va\/fa166689\/57870\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, 3 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with AFNOR Certification&#8217;s <\/strong>\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/10\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_en.pdf\">antibiotic validation protocol<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive opinion of the NF VALIDATION mark&#8217;s Agri-food Technical Board on 2 and 3 October 2024, AFNOR Certification approved :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The renewal of methods <strong>GENE-UP\u00ae <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em><\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>BAX\u00ae System RT PCR Assays for STEC Suite and BAX\u00ae System Real-Time PCR Assays for <em>E. coli<\/em><\/strong> (HYGIENA LLC), <strong>Neogen\u00ae Molecular Detection Assay 2 &#8211; <em>Salmonella<\/em><\/strong>, <strong>Neogen\u00ae Petrifilm\u00ae Rapid Aerobic Count Plate<\/strong> (NEOGEN Food Safety Corporation), <strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli<\/em> 2<\/strong> <strong>(44\u00b0C),<\/strong> <strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli<\/em> 2 (<em>E. coli<\/em> 37\u00b0C)<\/strong>, <strong>RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli<\/em> (coliforms 37\u00b0C)<\/strong> (BIO-RAD), <strong>Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Screening PCR Assay and Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 STEC Identification PCR Assay<\/strong> (OXOID Thermo Fisher) and <strong>M\u00e9thode CSD<\/strong> (SOLABIA SAS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The extension of methods :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>GENE-UP\u00ae <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em><\/strong> for the use of a new enrichment protocol intended for raw milk with enrichment in LX broth and<strong> GENE-UP\u00ae<em> Salmonella<\/em> spp.<\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) for the use of a pre-treatment (BACTVIAB\u00ae PMAxx\u2122) of the sample to remove free DNA and DNA from dead cells before the PCR detection step for samples from the production environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Neogen\u00ae Molecular Detection Assay 2 &#8211; <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em><\/strong> (NEOGEN Food Safety Corporation) for the use of Less plus for the enrichment of meat products (25g), dairy products (25g) and seafood and fish products (25g).<\/p>\n<p><strong>iQ-Check <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> II<\/strong> and <strong>iQ-Check <em>Listeria<\/em> spp.<\/strong> (BIO-RAD) for the addition of a new specific enrichment protocol for the \u2018Meat and poultry products\u2019 category.<\/p>\n<p>Our next Food Technical Board meetings will be held :<\/p>\n<p>In 2024: <strong>4 and 5 December 2024<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the dates to remember are: <strong>12 and 13 February<\/strong>, <strong>23 and 24 April<\/strong>, <strong>26 and 27 June<\/strong>, <strong>2 and 3 October<\/strong> and <strong>10 and 11 December 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 8 October 2024, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 129 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol&#8230;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":30,"featured_media":3934,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-3933","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>NF VALIDATION (Food): what&#039;s new in October 2024!
