On October 16, 2024, the “Water Microbiology” Validation Commission made its comeback! It was at the AFNOR Certification premises in hybrid and it was led by its president Philippe Rousselin (IDEXX Laboratories) and H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Muret (head of the NF VALIDATION brand – AFNOR Certification).<\/p>\n

Its purpose is to manage the activity of the NF VALIDATION brand and to issue opinions and recommendations on the general operating policy of the NF148 brand (validation rules and protocols), the creation of sectoral Technical Offices, the promotion and advertising around the brand.<\/p>\n

The summary of this day:<\/p>\n

\u25fc\ufe0f Morning devoted to the presentation of the NF148 service (certification of alternative microbiology methods in the water sector) of the NF Validation brand: general presentation, operation of the validation commission and the technical office and activity report 2020-2024.<\/p>\n

\u25fc\ufe0f Afternoon of exchanges around various topics and discussions around the working groups conducted in 2024.<\/p>\n

Key points: a service with committed and highly competent experts, expert laboratories and active and competent auditors <\/strong>(the aim is to extend the pool of dedicated auditors), improvement projects for the certification rules and validation protocols, calls for experts for the NF148 committees to be launched, the forthcoming development of the website, a list of events to be held in 2025-2026 and proactive communication about the mark!<\/strong><\/p>\n
