according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boutique.afnor.org\/norme\/nf-en-iso-16140-2\/microbiologie-de-la-chaine-alimentaire-validation-des-methodes-partie-2-protocole-pour-la-validation-de-methodes-alternatives-co\/article\/810052\/fa166689\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition, 2 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with the AFNOR Certification<a href=\"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/04\/NF102_Protocole-validation-AB_en.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> antibiotic validation protocol.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Following the positive opinion of the NF VALIDATION mark&#8217;s Agri-food Technical Board on 23<sup>rd<\/sup> and 24<sup>th<\/sup> April 2025, AFNOR Certification has approved :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Renewal of the <strong>VIDAS<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> UP <em>E. coli<\/em> O157 (ECPT)<\/strong>, <strong>TEMPO<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> AC<\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux), <strong>Solus <em>Salmonella<\/em> ELISA<\/strong>, <strong>Solus <em>Listeria<\/em> ELISA<\/strong> (Solus Scientific Ltd.), <strong>ANSR<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><em> Salmonella<\/em><\/strong> (Neogen Corporation), <strong>Neogen<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Molecular Detection Assay &#8211; <em>E. coli<\/em> O157<\/strong>, <strong>Neogen<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Petrifilm<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Select&#8217; <em>E. coli<\/em> (SEC)<\/strong> (Neogen Food Safety Corporation) methods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The extension of methods:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>BACARA<sup>\u00ae <\/sup><\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) to allow enumeration on <strong>BACARA<sup>\u00ae <\/sup> 2<\/strong> agar from a single plate without taking into account the requirements of ISO 7218,<\/li>\n<li><strong>ALOA<sup>\u00ae <\/sup> COUNT<\/strong> (bioM\u00e9rieux) to allow enumeration of <em>Listeria<\/em> spp. and <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> on ALOA agar from a single plate without taking into account the requirements of ISO 7218,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Listeria monocytogenes PCR Assay, Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Listeria species PCR Assay, Thermo Scientific\u2122 Listeria Precis\u2122 (Detection Listeria monocytogenes) and Thermo Scientific\u2122 Listeria Precis\u2122 (Detection Listeria species)<\/strong> (OXOID Thermo Fisher) to extend the scope to analysis of 125g samples for dairy and multi-composite foods,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Assurance<sup>\u00ae <\/sup>GDS MPX for Top 7 STEC, Assurance\u00ae MPX ID for STEC, Assurance\u00ae GDS EHEC ID for <em>E. coli<\/em> 0157:H7 Tq<\/strong> (Millipore Sigma &#8211; Merck Group) to extend the field of application to :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0 Raw meats and RTC meats up to 25g 6-24h,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Raw poultry, RTC, RTRH and RTE poultry up to 25g 8-24h,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 Raw milk and dairy products up to 25g 10-24h,<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0 And industrial production environmental samples for : 4&#8242; x 4&#8242; sponge (soaked in 10ml D\/E broth) or 25ml or 25g.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>SYMPHONY (SOLABIA SAS)<\/strong> to extend the field of application to the analysis of samples from the industrial production environmental samples and to allow the user to enumerate on a single box instead of two without taking into account the requirements of ISO 7218,<\/li>\n<li><strong>COMPASS<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><em> Bacillus cereus<\/em> Agar<\/strong> and <strong>COMPASS<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><em> Listeria<\/em> Agar (enumeration)<\/strong> (SOLABIA SAS) to allow the user to enumerate on a single box \u00a0instead of two without taking into account the requirements of ISO 7218<\/li>\n<li><strong>Neogen<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>Petrifilm<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Rapid Yeast and Mold Count Plate<\/strong> (Neogen Food Safety Corporation) to enable use of the One Plate for testing,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our next Food Technical Board meetings will be held:<\/p>\n<p><strong>July
