The kits for detection and quantification of <em>Legionella<\/em>\u00a0by PCR are validated according to the protocols of standards NF T90-471 and ISO\/TS 12869. Other methods are validated in accordance with the technical protocol drawn up by AFNOR Certification, which involves comparing the performance of an alternative method with that of a reference method.<\/p>\n<p>Following a positive recommendation from the NF VALIDATION Water Technical Committee on 24 September 2025, AFNOR Certification has approved:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The renewal of the alternative method XplOrer64\u2122\/CheckN\u2019Safe\u2122 <em>Enterococci<\/em> from BIO-RAD.<\/li>\n<li>The modification of the iQ-Check\u00ae <em>Legionella pneumophila<\/em> and iQ-Check\u00ae <em>Legionella<\/em> spp. methods from BIO-RAD. It allows to the use of the new version of CFX Maestro Industrial Diagnostic Edition (IDE) software version 4.0.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The next meeting of the Water Technical Committee will take place on Wednesday 14 January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On September 24th, 2025, the NF VALIDATION brand was awarded to 14 water microbiology analysis methods.
