{"id":4655,"date":"2025-10-03T12:09:38","date_gmt":"2025-10-03T11:09:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=4655"},"modified":"2025-10-03T12:09:38","modified_gmt":"2025-10-03T11:09:38","slug":"nf-validation-food-whats-new-for-october-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-food-whats-new-for-october-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food): what\u2019s new for October 2025!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On October 3rd, 2025, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 142 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 2 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with the AFNOR Certification antibiotic validation protocol.<\/p>\n<p>On the advice and recommendations of the Food Technical Board (relative majority vote) of the NF VALIDATION brand of 2 and 3 October 2025, AFNOR Certification has approved :<\/p>\n<p>The renewal of TEMPO\u00ae TC (bioM\u00e9rieux), LUMIprobe 24 <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> (EUROPROBE), Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Listeria monocytogenes PCR Assay, Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Listeria species PCR Assay, Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Salmonella species PCR Assay (OXOID SAS), Neogen\u00ae Petrifilm\u00ae Lactic Acid Bacteria Count Plate (NEOGEN Food Safety Corporation), RAPID&#8217;<em>Enterobacteriaceae<\/em> and RAPID&#8217;<em>Salmonella<\/em> (BIO-RAD) alternativ methods.<\/p>\n<p>The extension of the following alternative methods:<\/p>\n<p>\u25fe REBECCA\u2122 base et REBECCA\u2122 + EB, REBECCA\u2122 + EB, ChromID Coli\u00ae (37\u00b0C &#8211; <em>E. coli<\/em>), ChromID Coli\u00ae (37\u00b0C &#8211; Coliformes) and ChromID Coli\u00ae (44\u00b0C &#8211; <em>E. coli<\/em>) (bioM\u00e9rieux) to enable the counting of colonies on a single plate,<\/p>\n<p>\u25fe RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli <\/em>2 (44\u00b0C), RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli <\/em>2 (E.coli 37\u00b0C), RAPID&#8217;<em>E. coli <\/em>2 (Coliformes 37\u00b0C), RAPID&#8217;<em>B.cereus <\/em>and RAPID&#8217;<em>Enterobacteriaceae<\/em> (BIO-RAD) to enable the counting of colonies on a single plate,<\/p>\n<p>\u25feEZ-Check <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp. (BIO-RAD) to allow the use of a new specific enrichment protocol for the category \u2018chocolates and chocolate products for test samples up to 375g\u2019,<\/p>\n<p>The modification of the EZ-Check <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp. method (BIO-RAD) to enable the addition of the iQ-Check\u00ae Prep System v5 automated instrument to the scope of instruments covered by the EZ-Check <em>Salmonella<\/em> spp. method.<\/p>\n<p>Our next Food Industry Technical Board meetings will be held on:<\/p>\n<p><strong>10 and 11 December 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Then in 2026<\/strong> on 29 and 30 January, 1 and 2 April, 24 and 25 June, 30 September and 1 October, and finally on 3 and 4 December.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On October 3rd, 2025, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 142 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol.
