{"id":4774,"date":"2025-12-11T11:30:07","date_gmt":"2025-12-11T10:30:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/?p=4774"},"modified":"2025-12-11T11:30:07","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T10:30:07","slug":"nf-validation-food-whats-new-for-december-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nf-validation.afnor.org\/en\/food-industry\/nf-validation-food-whats-new-for-december-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"NF VALIDATION (Food): what\u2019s new for December 2025!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On December 11th, 2025, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 140 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol and its amendment A1 (2024).<\/p>\n<p>In addition, 2 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with the AFNOR Certification antibiotic validation protocol.<\/p>\n<p>On the advice and recommendations of the Food Technical Board (relative majority vote) of the NF VALIDATION brand of 10 and 11 December 2025, AFNOR Certification has approved :<\/p>\n<p>The renewal of the VIDAS\u00ae <em>Listeria monocytogenes<\/em> Xpress (LMX) (bioM\u00e9rieux) and Thermo Scientific\u2122 SureTect\u2122 Salmonella species, Typhimurium and Enteritidis Multiplex PCR Kit (OXOID SAS) methods.<\/p>\n<p>The extension of the methods:<\/p>\n<p>\u25fe AL Enumeration and RAPID&#8217;<em>L. mono <\/em>(enumeration) (BIO-RAD) to allow the enumeration of colonies on a single plate,<\/p>\n<p>\u25feRAPID&#8217;<em>Sakazakii <\/em>(BIO-RAD) to allow the extension of the scope of application with the addition of a new category: industrial production environmental samples,<\/p>\n<p>\u25fe BAX\u00ae System RT-PCR Assay for <em>Salmonella <\/em>spp. (HYGIENA LLC) to extend the scope of application to the analysis of pet food products (375 g), chocolate (375 g), industrial production environment samples (without subculture) and milk powder (25 g) and to include the DNA-free cleaning step.<\/p>\n<p>Our next Agri-Food Technical Board meetings will be held on:29 and 30 January, 1 and 2 April, 24 and 25 June, 30 September and 1 October, and finally, 3 and 4 December 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The NF VALIDATION team wishes you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On December 11th, 2025, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 140 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol and&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":30,"featured_media":4775,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[9,2],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-4774","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-food-industry","category-news","post-item","post-even"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v23.8 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>NF VALIDATION (Food): what\u2019s new for December 2025!
