Members of the Technical Board
The Technical Board for the Food Industry is composed of some twenty experts who participate in the examination of validation dossiers for alternative methods of analysis in food microbiology. They represent different groups: method manufacturers, method users and technical organizations. Their role is to vote, under the aegis of AFNOR Certification, on the performance of an alternative method compared to a reference method in terms of accuracy and precision. Members are nominated by AFNOR Certification and selected for their expertise in the field of food microbiology. Their complementary skills enable them to validate, renew and extend the field of application of alternative methods proposed by manufacturers, to a high standard.
