NF VALIDATION was attributed to 119 microbiological methods

As of May 16th , 2014, 119 microbiological methods in the food industry as well as 3 antibiotic detection methods are certified NF VALIDATION. All the microbiological methods are validated according to the NF EN ISO 16140 standard protocol requirements.

During its meeting held on May 15th and 16th 2014, the NF VALIDATION “Technical Board – Food Microbiology” approved by vote:

– The validation renewal of the methods VIDAS LIS , VIDAS LMO2, VIDAS SLM Dual Selective enrichment, BACARA (bioMérieux), BAX System RT-PCR Assay E. coli O157:H7 (Dupont Qualicon)
– The validation extension of the methods VIDAS SPT and VIDAS ECPT (bioMérieux) for a new protocol in 25g sample sizes specific to raw beef and raw veal including seasoned meats (enrichment in BPW + Vancomycin Additive in 16-24 hours), SOLUS Salmonella ELISA (Solus Scientific Solutions Ltd) extending its scope to all human food and feed products and production environment samples (except those from primary production).
