On February, 9th, 2022, the NF VALIDATION mark has been awarded to 156 methods of analysis in food microbiology, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140-2: 2016.
In addition, 5 methods for the detection of antibiotic residue in food are validated according to the Validation protocol antibiotics AFNOR Certification.
Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TB) of Food expressend during its meeting held on February 2nd and 3rd 2023, AFNOR Certification has approved :
- The certification validation for GENE-UP® Salmonella Enteritidis & Salmonella Typhimurium (bioMérieux) for the detection of Salmonella Enteritidis and Salmonella Typhimurium in pork and poultry meat and egg products.
- Certification renewals (according to the new EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol) : Salmonella species DNA Test Kit (BIOCHECK), BACGene Salmonella spp (Eurofins), BAX System RT-PCR Assay for Salmonella spp (HYGIENA), Thermo Scientific SureTect Escherichia coli O157:H7 PCR Assay (OXOID ThermoFisher), GeneDisc STEC (Pall GeneDisc Technologies), Test 3M Petrifilm Haute Sensibilité Coliformes (HSCC), 3M Petrifilm Staph Express (STX) A, 3M Petrifilm Staph Express (STX) B (Neogen Europe Ltd)
- Extensions for : RAPID’Salmonella and iQ-Check Salmonella II to validate the use of a new specific enrichment protocol for the analysis of feed products (375g test portion) (BIO-RAD)
