On November 30th, 2021, 150 alternative methods of analysis in food microbiology are certified NF VALIDATION, validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003 or its new version EN ISO 16140-2: 2016. The update of the files is done gradually, on the occasion of renewals or extensions. The end of the transition is scheduled for the end of 2021. In the meantime, the 2 types of certificates are still valid.
In addition, 5 methods for the detection of antibiotic residue in food are validated according to the Validation protocol antibiotics AFNOR Certification.
Following the positive agreement of the Technical Board (TB) of Food expressend during its meeting held on October 6th and 7th 2021, AFNOR Certification has approved :
- Certifications extensions of the GENE-UP Listeria spp. 2 (LIS 2) and GENE-UP ® Listeria monocytogenes 2 (LMO 2) methods (bioMérieux) in order to validate a new protocol for the analysis of dairy products with LX broth enrichment in all human food products, RAPID’B. cereus (BIO-RAD) in order to extend the scope to the analysis of ” industrial production environmental samples” and “animal feed products”
