On October 22th 2024, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 14 water microbiology analysis methods. The kits for detection and quantification of Legionella by PCR are validated in accordance with the protocols of standards NF T90-471 and ISO/TS 12869. The other methods are validated in accordance with the technical protocol established by AFNOR Certification, which consists of comparing the performance of an alternative method with that of a reference method.
No ‘manufacturer’ file was assessed at the NF VALIDATION mark’s Water Technical Board meeting on October 22th 2024, but the dates for 2025 have been set.
In your diaries, the Water Technical Committee will be held :
– Wednesday 5th February 2025,
– Wednesday 11th June 2025,
– And Wednesday 24th September 2025.
