On 6 December 2024, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 136 food microbiology analysis methods, validated in accordance with the EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol.
In addition, 2 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with the AFNOR Certification antibiotic validation protocol.
Following the positive opinion of the NF VALIDATION mark’s Agri-food Technical Board on 4 and 5 December 2024, AFNOR Certification has approved :
- The validation of the CompactDry™ TC, CompactDry™ X-SA, CompactDry™ EC (coliforms), CompactDry™ EC (E. coli) methods for Shimadzu Diagnostics Corporation. Congratulations to our new NF VALIDATION mark holder 🎉
But also foodproof® Salmonella plus Cronobacter Detection LyoKit for Salmonella spp. detection and foodproof® Salmonella plus Cronobacter Detection LyoKit for Cronobacter spp. detection for HYGIENA LLC.

- The renewal of the methods AL Recherche, AL Dénombrement, iQ-Check® Cronobacter spp, RAPID’Campylobacter (BIO-RAD), SALMA® One Day, TEMPO® EC (bioMérieux), TRANSIA® Plate Salmonella Gold, Assurance® GDS for Salmonella Tq (Millipore Sigma – Merck), COMPASS® Bacillus cereus Agar (SOLABIA SAS), BACGene Listeria monocytogenes, BACGene Listeria spp, BACGene Listeria Multiplex, BACSpec Salmonella 2 and BACSpec Listeria (Gold Standard Diagnostics).
- Extension of the methods :
- iQ-Check® Listeria monocytogenes II and iQ® Check Listeria spp. (BIO-RAD) for the addition of a new specific enrichment protocol for the ‘vegetables products’ and ‘seafood products’ categories.
- Assurance® GDS for Salmonella Tq to extend the field of application to the analysis of ‘cocoa and chocolate raw finished products’ (Millipore Sigma – Merck).
