NF VALIDATION (Food): what’s new for February 2025!

On 28th February 2025, the NF VALIDATION mark was awarded to 138 food microbiology analysis methods, validated according to the  EN ISO 16140-2: 2016 protocol.

In addition, 2 antibiotic residue screening methods have been validated in accordance with the AFNOR Certification antibiotics validation protocol.

🎉 The validation of the CompactDry™ YMR methods for Shimadzu Diagnostics Corporation and BACGene GO Salmonella for Gold Standard Diagnostics.

Congratulations to the manufacturers concerned on these new NF VALIDATION-certified methods. Certificates and summary reports will be available soon!

  • The renewal of the Listeria Precis™ (detection) (OXOID Thermo Fisher), Neogen® Petrifilm® Rapide Coliformes (14h), Neogen® Petrifilm® Rapide Coliformes (totaux 24h), Neogen® Petrifilm® Rapide Coliformes (gazogènes 24h) (NEOGEN Food Safety Corporation) and iQ-Check® Listeria monocytogenes II (BIO-RAD) methods.
  • Extension of methods:
  • GENE-UP® Listeria spp. (bioMérieux) for the addition of a new protocol for raw milk with LX broth enrichment.
  • EASY STAPH® (SOLABIA SAS) to extend the field of application to industrial production environmental samples.
  • Neogen® Petrifilm® Rapid Aerobic Count Plate (RAC) to extend the field of application to all human food products (by performing validation assays on a broad  range of foods)to allow the use of the PPRA for plate reading and the use of the One Plate for testing.
