As of May 19th 2017, 135 alternative methods for microbiological food analysis are certified NF VALIDATION : 102 are validated according to the protocol EN ISO 16140: 2003 and 33 according to the protocol EN ISO 16140-2: 2016. Two methods for the detection of antibiotics residues in food are validated according to the NF VALIDATION specific protocol.
During his meeting held on May 18th and 19th 2017, the NF VALIDATION Technical Board (Application to agribusiness) approved by vote:
– The validations (according to EN ISO 16140-2:2016 protocol) of the following methods: 3M Molecular Detection 2 – E. coli O157 (including H7) (3M Health Care) for the detection of E. coli O157 in raw beef meats, raw dairy products, and raw fruits & vegetables; QIAGEN mericon Manual Listeria monocytogenes (QIAGEN GmbH) for the detection of Listeria monocytogenes in meats products and dairy products.
– The validation extensions of the following methods: SALMA One Day (bioMérieux) extended to the analysis of infant formula powders and associated raw materials (50g) and production environmental samples from surface area; ANSR for Listeria (Neogen Europe) for a modification on the amplification step with update of ANSR software to version 1.8.3 .
– The validation renewals (according to EN ISO 16140-2:2016 protocol) of AdiaFood Cronobacter spp. (bioMérieux), AL Detection (Bio-Rad) and QIAGEN mericon Salmonella (QIAGEN GmbH).
